Starting point.

We wanted to do something different for Christmas 2017 – certainly not your standard card and ‘all the best for a prosperous 2017’.

So, we hit upon the idea of bringing the promise of Outpost to life…our relentless exploring…. the way we go the extra mile to take brands further...and linking it to a Christmas story of leaving the glitz and glitter of Manchester city centre behind and finding peace and tranquillity, calm and contentment at the Outpost.

Taking our own brand further.

Filmed and expertly edited by our good friends at Pantling Studios, everything was shot in 24 hours – capturing all the action from sunrise to sunset. As a sensible way to keep the budget under control, we approached some of our clients. The wardrobe was provided by Private White V.C – but this money-saving move also gave us the inspiration to increase the reach of the film.

We suggested that they use images from the film as a showcase for their products – and they agreed, posting four stylish stills to their Instagram page. We also proactively approached Jaguar Land Rover (manufacturers of the vehicle used in the film) to point out that imagery we had captured may be of interest, as it displayed their product beautifully.

The impressive shots of the car instantly captured their imagination too, and they gave the green light to posting the images on Instagram.

What happened next?

Outpost name was spread far and wide as images from the film were liked almost 1000 times on Private White VC’s Instagram page.

And even these great numbers were dwarfed by the massive 72,000 Likes our images received on Jaguar Land Rover’s international Instagram page.

And to beat that, when Jaguar got to 5 million social followers, they celebrated their community by publishing an Instagram album of the best UGC they had received in 2017 – and our F-Pace photography made the final cut.
